Mexico. Hidalgo hosted the first Scientific Forum on Sustainable Construction Technologies, a space in which the academic area of architecture of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (UAEH) analyzed studies of pertinence and feasibility for the creation and design of two Master's degrees related to construction, one of them specialized in civil engineering and the other in architecture.
The first master's degree will be specialized in civil engineering and will have to do with materials technology and sustainable construction; While the second, related to architecture, will have as its main line the administration of projects and works.
This was explained by Carlos Bigurra Alzati, from the academic area of architecture of UAEH, speaking about the objectives in interview during the radio program "Firefly".
The aim is to prepare professionals in the field each time with a greater focus on sustainable construction, more environmentally friendly and with greater benefits for the population of the cities.
The objective of the forum was to exchange ideas and experiences to strengthen the research lines of the academic body of sustainable civil engineering and materials technology, as well as the research group of architecture, technology and habitability of the Autonomous of Hidalgo, through collaboration With members of academic bodies consolidated in the country.
The forum also brought together the private initiative, alumni, federal and state government to see how to build more environmentally friendly buildings.
For the analysis of the research lines, two experts were present: Dr. Mohamed Abatal of the Autonomous University of Ciudad del Carmen, who participates in the disciplinary academic body of energy and materials; And Dr. Dagoberto Burgos Flores of the University of Sonora, who participates in the academic bodies of civil works, environment and sustainable infrastructure.
Carlos Bigurra said that the guests advise the state's largest house of studies in order that the new academic programs have better and broader support.
In addition, in Mexico is added the lack of strict regulation in the execution of works by the authorities.
Therefore, the importance of the management of projects and construction works, which is defined as an integrated system of methods applicable to the management of all phases of projects, covering the technical procedures required from the beginning or conception at the level Of ideas and / or plans, until their lifting and subsequent completion.
The process includes the stages of planning, programming, implementation, management and control of projects. In this way, it constitutes a rational methodology for the best use of resources.
